MEET THE BAND

Taylor Blanpied

Lead Vocals & Acoustic guitar

Taylor Blanpied is a Charleston-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Texas. He studied jazz as a drummer before expanding into vocals, acoustic guitar, songwriting, and orchestral scoring work, giving him a wide musical foundation rooted in rhythm, emotion, and arrangement. Inspired by the improvisational spirit of Dave Matthews Band, Taylor brings soulful vocals, rhythmic acoustic guitar, and a high-energy, engaging stage presence to every performance. His presence helps make each show feel both polished and alive, creating moments of connection that draw the crowd into the music.

Mary Death

Violin & Vocals

Mary Death (Meredith Keough) is a violinist, vocalist, songwriter, and visual artist from Houston, Texas. She began playing violin at the age of four and studied classical violin throughout her younger years while dabbling in other genres in her free time. She now plays primarily folk, country, and alternative rock music, and her love of goth, punk, and new wave music inspires her. Individually, Mary Death designs alternative and punk clothing to wear for performances, and is deeply passionate about sustainability in fashion.

Harry Holden

Saxophone

Harry Holden is a gifted young saxophonist based in Charleston, originally from Paradise, California, whose musical roots began in jazz before expanding into everything from bluegrass and pop to funk, rock, and soul. Though fans may know him as “Harry on the Bari” for his rich, soulful baritone sax sound, his versatility goes far beyond that, with alto, soprano, and wind synth all adding color to his musical voice. Still early in his career, Harry already plays with a striking maturity, bringing technical skill, fearless improvisation, and a deep love for the art form into every performance. His sound adds a dynamic and unmistakable energy to Tripping Billy Goats, blending powerful horn lines with creative textures that make each show feel alive and unpredictable.

Ethan Lopez

Keyboards & Vocals

Ethan Lopez is a Charleston-based keyboardist and music producer. He received piano lessons from ages 6-10, eventually picking up guitar and bass.  After graduating from Clemson University, Ethan gained experience playing blues, southern rock, psychedelic rock, and 50s/60s/70s pop with a variety of bands in both the lowcountry and the upstate. In the Tripping Billy Goats, he uses record-accurate keyboard and orchestral arrangements to add texture to each performance while also singing background vocals. Ethan enjoys tinkering with vintage synthesizers, tutoring organic chemistry, birding and  playing chess.
